Baseball Card event wrap up

Thanks to everyone who made it out to the Durham and the Rise of the Baseball Card event last Friday. We had a great time and hope you did, too. There were over 200 folks here, many of them young friends of the museum, here at 5 sharp, who were eagerly awaiting the arrival of  Wool E. Bull. The Bull did not disappoint, spending over an hour wreaking havoc behind our front desk, posing for photos, and even taking a turn playing tambourine with the band!

We appreciate Wool E. Bull, Tea Cup Gin, and Joe’s Diner lending their talents. Also, a great show of support from sponsors Recharge Pilates and Barre, Snyderman Fund, Capitol Broadcasting Company, and Baseball America. And finally, a special thanks to exhibit curators Adam Berenbak and Angela Thorpe for all of their hard work. We’re glad you got to talk with them. If you have any photos you’d like to share, pass them along. We’ll see you again for the Baseball Card Family Day on August 13th!
