Group Activities At The Hub

Thinking of bringing a group of schoolchildren to the History Hub? That’s great!!

A few things to know:

-There is parking available next to the Hub and we can accomodate most school/activity busses.

-For group visits, the Hub comfortably holds groups of around 15-25 people. This allows enough room for people to move around, look at the exhibits, and complete the self-guided activities. Larger groups can divide into sub-groups and rotate through the Hub while other groups go on self-guided walking tours.  If you have a larger group, contact us to discuss options.

-You are welcome to make use of our large gazebo for a snack or lunch before or after your visit.

We currently have two self-guided activities at the Hub: I-Spy Activity for lower-elementary and the Durham History Hub Scavenger Hunt for upper-elementary students (and above).
