“L is for Legacy” Pop-Up at the Durham County Library (Elementary/Middle)

to Calendar

The Museum of Durham History is partnering with the Durham County Library to present L is for Legacy– a distinct part of The Life and Legacy of Floyd B. McKissick Sr. exhibit, created just for kids. This FREE interactive program at the Main Library (300 N. Roxboro St.) will explore the meaning of “legacy” and encourage families to reflect on their genealogies and heritage through fun and immersive group activities.

This two-part event will feature content for both younger children and adolescents. On February 11th, the first installment of this program is designed for elementary and middle school children, and will feature a showing of PBS Kids’ Arthur: Postcards from Buster
