MoDH in the Community: Summer Farmer’s Market Series

The Museum of Durham History is excited to continue our mission of bringing exhibits directly to the public by attending different farmer’s markets over the coming months. We started this new initiative on Saturday, April 26th, with our first visit to the Downtown Durham Farmer’s Market at Durham Central Park. We will be at the Downtown Durham Farmer’s Market once a month, as well as the Black Farmer’s Market at Durham Technical Community College once a month. We plan on attending all of these gatherings with our Faces of Durham pop-up banners, our most popular traveling exhibit featuring several prominent Durhamites.

Below is a list of the dates and locations we will have a booth set up; make sure to come say hi!

  • May 4th at the Black Farmer’s Market, Durham Tech, 11:30-4:30
  • May 24th at the Downtown Durham Farmer’s Market, Durham Central Park, 8:30-12:30
  • June 1st at the Black Farmer’s Market, Durham Tech, 11:30-4:30
