On September 8th, at 6pm, we will be celebrating the official opening of our Fall 2023 main gallery exhibit, Stranger Times. This visually-stunning project uses the idea of the “Upside-Down” from the Emmy-nominated Netflix series Stranger Things as an analogy for the experience of life and coming of age during the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown.

This event will feature a playlist under the gazebo of ’80s only hits, food popularized during the 1980s, and a scavenger hunt for visitors of all ages to learn about retro “artifacts”.

Featured guest speakers will share insight and stories of students and teachers who collaborated on this innovative exhibit.

Make sure to contribute a story about your own COVID-19 pandemic experience that may be featured in the exhibit and on our YouTube channel.
