Louis Austin Exhibit Opening
Join us on December 14th from 6-8PM at the Museum of Durham History for the opening of an exhibit examining the life of Louis E. Austin, editor and publisher of the Carolina Times newspaper from 1927 to his death in 1971. Exhibit curated by Dr. Jerry Gershenhorn, who recently authored the book: Louis Austin and the Carolina Times: A Life in the Long Black Freedom Struggle.
