Lost to the Loop exhibit to feature walking tour of Downtown Durham

On May 10th, we celebrated the opening of our second community curated exhibit Lost to the Loop: Reshaping Downtown Durham. The exhibit, which will run through Sunday, June 9th, tells the story of Durham’s Downtown Loop – from the historical street grid to the Julian Tarrant plan and the implementation of major changes to the streetscape. This exhibit features historic and contemporary pictures to show how the downtown landscape has changed. A self-guided walking tour to see some of these locations will also be offered throughout the exhibit’s run.

Be sure to join us on Saturday June 8th for a walking tour of the Downtown Loop with community curator, Erin Rutherford. Check out the events page for more info!
