Donate Now - Museum of Durham History Innovator Pledge Program

This Program will honor those donors who want to make a larger commitment to the Museum and help us to achieve our vision in the next 3-5 years, including the proposed expansion and redevelopment of the Museum’s current location.  The original Pioneer Pledge Program was incredibly successful and laid the foundation for the Museum to become a leading arts and culture organization in the Durham community.

Similar to the previous Pioneers, donors to this program will receive permanent recognition in the Museum window as well as an invitation to attend an exclusive annual event to be held at the private home of a Museum Board member.  In addition, pledge donors will receive a holiday gift with a hand-written note from Patrick.

The original Pioneer Pledge Program was established in 2015 and over the course of the next year, over 200 donors contributed an enormous amount of funding, resources, and time to help the fledgling Durham History Hub develop its place in the community and define its vision.

Over the last 7 years, The Museum of Durham History has grown to become a leading arts and culture organization in the Durham community thanks to the support of these original Pioneer Program members and their dedication to our mission.  Now, the Museum has grown “beyond” our walls and is focused on our vision to bring our programming to all audiences within our community.

Please consider becoming a member of our Innovator Pledge Program to help us expand our reach and our space.  Your support will increase awareness of our community impact and encourage increased support from the City and County as we move into 2023 and beyond.

  • Museum Beyond Walls— $50,000+ over three years
  • Foundation of the Future— $30,000 — $49,999 over three years
  • Legends of Durham— $15,000 — $29,999 over three years
  • Storytellers of the City—$7,500 — $14,999 over three years
  • History on the Horizon—$5,000 — $7,499 over three years
