Thank You MoDH Board Members!

As the Museum of Durham History winds down another fiscal year, we want to take the time to recognize our board of directors for volunteering their service to govern our organization. We appreciate their passion about Durham and its history that they dedicate their time and expertise to share with our community. The museum’s success is a testament to their participation and oversight.

With the end of the fiscal year comes the end of a few of our board members’ terms:

  • Carlton Wilson, PhD, Dean & Associate Professor North Carolina Central University (above left in maroon shirt)
  • Nancy Bernstein, Consultant (above in tan sweater)
  • Renee Snyderman, President of the Snyderman Foundation (above in white jacket)
  • Jim Wise, Durham Historian (above right in white shirt)

We are so grateful for each of their 6 years of committed service and are sad to see them go (but we won’t let them go far). The MoDH has benefitted greatly from their support including governance, exhibits and programming, fundraising, community engagement, and so much more. We have a bright future ahead of us in the coming years, and we will continue to thrive and serve the community thanks to their leadership!
