‘Project Aeschylus’ in Review

This past week for Third Friday, the Museum hosted the Durham Production Company and their awesome initiative, Project Aeschylus. Contrary to the playwright the project is named after, this night was anything but a tragedy! Guests enjoyed the Augmented Reality experience developed by DPC, which featured detailed stories of Asian food and restaurants of the 20th century in Durham. These restaurants included The Oriental, Yamazushi, The Four Seas, and Shanghai. This was the perfect AR experience to get us ready for the next installment of our Dining Out in Durham dining series event at Juju, which will feature some of those local Asian restaurant stories of the past. Be on the lookout for other projects from the Durham Production Company, we look forward to working with them again in the future.
