Local Students Honor Durham’s Civil Rights Movement

In November, 11th- and 12th-grade students from Voyager Academy visited the museum to record oral history projects in our Story Room. The students conducted interviews with Durhamites and their experiences during the Civil Rights era. These intriguing interviews provide a diverse range of perspectives!

MoDH volunteer and Duke U. student Shauna Yu created a video montage of the recordings and images from Durham’s Civil Rights Era. Tell us what you think!
