Hayti Exhibit Opens To Warm Reception

On October 16, along with the Hayti Heritage Center, we proudly introduced our newest exhibit Durham A-Z: H is for Hayti with a fabulous “Hayti at the Hub” party under the gazebo. Durhamites of all ages stopped by for a festive Third Friday to learn about the historic neighborhood and its legacy. The Hub was a buzz with food, drinks, live music, and a special pop-up exhibit. We’d like to acknowledge the generosity of our partners in helping to support the event: Joe’s Diner, Harris Beverages LLC, JB & Friends, Kappa Alpha Psi Durham Alumni, Andre Vann, and the Hayti Heritage Center. More photos here.

Is this the first you’ve heard about Hayti? Learn more here, then come by and see Durham A-Z: H is for Hayti.
