Durham has many great stories to tell. A brief chronology is in Durham History, brought to life by the personal commentary in Video Stories. In both you'll find the energy and independent spirit that have defined Durham for more than 150 years.

The Museum's vision is to be a coordination point for relaying the rich history of this diverse and creative community. Our goal is to have a centrally located facility, but until then our corps of volunteers is building programs that bring our vision closer. We hope you'll get to know us better.
